Read this on-line help completely before using WebNowseBETA
When you run WebNowse for the first time, a dialog with the license agreement is shown. You have to agree to the license agreement to continue to use WebNowse. Do not use WebNowse if you do not fully agree with its license.
WebNowse starts automatically, as soon as you accept the license. By default, WebNowse starts minimized as an icon in the system tray. Double-click on the WebNowse icon, or use its context menu to maximize WebNowse.
To access the configuration settings, stop first the nowsing using the stop [[]] toolbar button. After you access the settings from the toolbar, you need to start nowsing explicitly using the start [>] toolbar button.
Raw Settings
WebNowse settings and the files it generates are saved in a folder inside the local non-roaming user profile. The path to the settings folder is shown in the settings dialog. Normally, you do not need to change the settings manually. All important settings can be changed conveniently via the settings dialog.
However, if you want to have a look at the raw settings use the Explorer button near the textbox where the path is shown, to open the settings folder. Edit these files manually only when WebNowse is not running. For example, if you exit WebNowse, and open the wn-settings.txt file, you can set app.firstTime=1, in order to see the license dialog again, the next time you run WebNowse.
To reset settings delete wn-settings.txt file when WebNowse is not running. To reset WebNowse to its original state delete completely the settings folder.
